Summary: "Earplugs needed"
Price was good and I should have known better. It came in bubble wrap Very noisy, vibrated, no video, gouges in case, case would not stay closed. It's been about 3 weeks since I returned it and have not received any communication from anyone yet.

I needed an extra computer for my music studio, and this one more than filled the bill. It was better than I had expected and is working perfectly. Very good product and a very good price.

Summary: "Dell refurb"
I bought this for my mother as a replacement for one that died.
Price was good, delivery speed was good and could be tracked in transit (always a good thing.) The computer
was as advertised except the cd/DVD drawer spring was defective making it difficult to open- once open the player worked fine. Customer service from these folk is very cludgy: send an email, wait for a response, no phone service, etc. I did receive a reply but decided not to pursue the cd drawer problem, it was easier to rig a pull wire for the drawer than to ship it back. no other problems except a lot of superfluous software/adware that needed to be removed.
Overall a decent deal for anyone with even modest computer experience who is willing to take a chance on a refurb.

Summary: "Worst Mistake in My Life in purchasing a computer"
I bought this computer in Feb 09 as a spare, and it didn't even last a good 6 months. The hard drive went bad and the repair cost would be over $400.00. I would say stick to companies that have good quality refurbished computers. This was a waste of over $300.00. One day the blue screen of death appeared and would not go away. Even the repair company stated it was not worth repairing. Buyer beware is all I have to say.
